Andrea made her way from a Master’s Degree in Political Science to a senior position in
Government Finance in 2005; a role predicated on her ability to negotiate effectively while
maintaining positive stakeholder relations, often in stressful situations. In the meantime, she
and her husband were making a habit of buying, renovating and selling personal and income
properties.

After starting a family in 2008, Andrea left her government job to manage the family’s collection
of rental properties. After their last child was born in 2014, Andrea took the plunge to become a
Realtor.

Concurrently, Andrea studied for and completed the Carson and Dunlop Ontario Home
Inspector Program and the York Construction Academy Construction Technology Program. For
the next several years Andrea successfully ran a Real Estate and Renovations company
helping her Clients achieve their renovation goals as a seamless progression from the Real
Estate Transaction through the renovation process.

As of 2022, Andrea has decided to place her full time focus on Real Estate; bringing with her,
her past experience with home building, inspection, negotiation and finance. She is so honoured to be working within the Gilmore Property Group.
